Common questions

What does an export management mandate cover?

Certificates of origin, customs registration, compliance checks and the full shipping document set, prepared and filed under our own Abu Dhabi trade licence. You keep the supplier relationship and the pricing; Embex operates the desk behind it.

Do you trade on your own account or on behalf of clients?

Both. We run resourcing, export and trading mandates for producers and buyers worldwide, and we trade our own line of dates, nuts, honey and saffron. The same team runs both, to the same standard.

What does trading management actually involve?

We operate your trading book end to end: contracts, pricing, counterparty management and settlement, reported back to you in full. It suits a producer or buyer who has the volume but not the desk.

Do you handle freight and warehousing as well as documents?

Yes. Freight is coordinated origin to destination across sea and air — booking, consolidation and tracking — and we arrange storage, sorting, grading and packing for distributors consolidating goods for re-export.
