Privacy
This page explains what Embex Trading L.L.C — S.P.C does with the information you send us through this website. It is written to describe what actually happens, not to cover every eventuality.
What we collect
Only what you choose to send us. The enquiry form on the contact page asks for:
- your name and email address, which we need in order to reply;
- your company, phone or WhatsApp number, if you give them;
- details of what you are sourcing, selling or moving — commodity or service, volume, timeline, and origin and destination markets;
- anything else you write in the message field.
If you email or message us directly instead, we hold whatever you put in that message.
We do not ask for payment details anywhere on this site, and there is nothing on it to sign up for.
What we do with it
An enquiry sent through the form is delivered by email to info@embex.ae, where our desk reads it and replies. That is its only purpose.
We do not sell your information, and we do not pass it to anyone for marketing. We share details of an enquiry with a producer, buyer, freight forwarder or customs agent only where doing so is how we answer it — and only what that party needs.
How long we keep it
Your enquiry stays in our email as business correspondence, in the same way a message you sent directly would.
The website itself keeps a copy for fifteen minutes, and only so the confirmation screen can show you what you sent. It is deleted after that. Nothing else about you is stored on the site.
Cookies and tracking
Embex sets no cookies of its own, and there is no analytics or advertising tracking on any page — we run no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel and no visitor profiling.
One cookie is set that is not ours. Our host, Hostinger, includes a script on every page from its Reach marketing product. We do not use that product and it displays nothing on this site, but loading the script causes your browser to contact Hostinger and to store a __cf_bm cookie. That cookie belongs to Cloudflare, which sits in front of Hostinger’s servers, and its stated purpose is telling automated traffic from real visitors. Embex does not read that cookie and receives no information from it.
If that changes — we are considering website analytics — this page will be updated to say what is set and why, before it goes live.
Other companies involved
- Hosting and email. The site and our mail are hosted by Hostinger. Their servers hold the site’s files and our email, and their systems keep standard access logs, which record things like IP addresses and pages requested.
- WhatsApp. The WhatsApp buttons on this site open a conversation on WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta under its own terms and privacy policy. We only see the messages you send us there.
- Hostinger Reach. Our host loads a script from its own marketing product on every page, as described under Cookies and tracking above. We do not use it and receive nothing from it.
- Fonts. None. The typefaces on this site are served from our own server, so your browser does not contact Google or any other font provider to read this page.
Your choices
Write to info@embex.ae and ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will do it, unless we are required to keep a record of a transaction we have actually carried out.
You are never obliged to use the form. Emailing or calling us reaches the same desk.
